About the Role:
Standard Manufacturers Services Ltd. is seeking a reliable, hands-on, mechanically inclined individual to support our manufacturing operations. This position involves material handling, shipping assistance, general maintenance, cleaning, and keeping the plant going and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to move materials, equipment, and machinery.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and material handling.
- Help relocate equipment and maintain an organized, efficient plant layout.
- Perform general maintenance, cleaning, and other facility-related tasks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
Qualifications:
- Forklift operating experience is required for hire.
- Mechanically inclined with an interest in equipment and hands-on work.
- Reliable, organized, and willing to take initiative.
- Able to perform physical work and work independently or as part of a team.
- Previous manufacturing, shipping, or maintenance experience is an asset.
